Welcome to our Second Supplement Breakdown!
In these posts we dive deeper into the active supplement ingredients in our 1 Shot Energy Chews, explaining where they come from and what they do for you!
We noticed not many companies disclose (let alone explain) how their supplemental ingredients work, and why they even put them in their formulas!! We wanted to break the mold and actually explain why we formulated our chews the way we did, and what each and every ingredient's benefits are! So let's dive in.
L-Citrulline...What Does it do?
You may have seen it on energy product labels, but you probably don't know what it does. We'll, first off it's an amino acid that is naturally made in the body. It is also very prevalent in Watermelon!
When ingested, the body turns L-Citrulline into L-Arginine, another amino acid. This amino acid converts into Nitric Oxide which helps the body build protein. In turn, this gives L-Citrulline multiple potential benefits from heart health and improved muscle building to better blood flow and wound repair.
In terms of gaming performance, we added L-Citrulline to help improve blood flow which in turn helps improve focus, cognitive function and mood.
So how much L-Citrulline is healthy to take?
L-Citrulline is typically taken in amounts that range from 100mg up to 1,500mg. Every 1 Shot Energy Chew has 100mg of L-Citrulline, giving you a significant does, and also allowing you to have multiple pieces without going overboard.
Let's Recap
L-Citrulline is an amino acid that is produced naturally in the body. Taking supplemental L-Citrulline turns into L-Arginine which helps promote increased blood flow, heart health and muscle building.
